Sound of Munich takes us back to a beer style that was first brewed in Munich by the monks of St. Francis of Paula. The name "Doppel" bock was created by the Munich consumers and means double bock.
Fast forward to today, and we are excited to be bringing this beautiful ruby colored, foeder-aged Dopplebock to WNY! This rich and malty dark German Lager was brewed at the NYBP Beer Lodge, exquisitely crafted with notes of light chocolate, caramel, toast, oak and dark fruit. At over 8% ABV, this beer is full bodied, smooth and malty sweet, with a moderately dry finish that keeps you going back for another sip.
We hope you enjoy this Specialty Release, tapping right around Holiday Season! Cheers!
